MEMORY REQUIREMENTS: 16K Extended BASIC NOTE: All programs will work with 32K machines, but none will work in 16K DISK.... LOADING INSTRUCTIONS: Load using CLOAD command then, leaving the play button depressed type RUN.* When you type RUN the computer will try to load another program, so this makes it necessary to leave the play button depressed. These instructions are for Extended BASIC NON -Disk machine. * For USA, before typing RUN, type DEL 95-113 if you have a 16K machine. TROUBLE: If you encounter an I/O error, it does not necessarily mean the tape is bad. Try adjusting the volume of the tape recorder. If that does not correct the error, try loading another copy of the program. Both sides of the tape contain several copies of the program. SAVE TO DISK INSTRUCTIONS: Each of the five major programs consists of two programs which are 1) a BASIC program (AFRICA, ASIA, EUROPE, SOUCENAM, USA) which contains high resolution graphics information. When loading from a cassette file the machine language program won't load into a DISK BASIC machine normally. So, to save on disk, for each program follow these instructions for AFRICA but use the appropriate program names: 1. CLOAD "AFRICA" 2. SAVE "AFRICA" 3. CLOADM "AFRMAP",&H800 4. SAVEM "AFRMAP",&HE00,&H25FF,&HE00
